	Envision supports all file types including jpg, gif, bmp, tif, png, fla, swf, avi, mov, mp3, ram, zip, pdf, mpg, and more! Simply edit the configuration file to add new media.

	Auto-thumbnail creation feature reduces upload time and requirement of any third party image software. Unique resize code allows you to resize to area instead of exact width and height. Your thumbnails will always be proportionate!

	Users can now choose templates as well as styles to their liking. Templates and styles can be created and added effortlessly by admin.

	Unlimited categories and subcategories as well as unlimited levels. e.g. Movies => Fiction => Science => Lowbudget

	Users can select the number of thumbnails displayed per page. Media can be arranged in 5 ways- hits, rating, newest, oldest, random or alphabetical.

	Admin can cache media to reduce load on server incase of high traffic sites.

	Admin can set user upload categories and set user access permissions for categories.

	Hotrate feature enables users to quickly rate their favorite images. Previous rating of media is displayed once the image has been rated by user.

	Brand new features in slideshow- Auto-resize of media, Fullscreen view and 17 Transistion Effects (for Internet Explorer users). On clicking the media, user is taken to page where detailed information is displayed.

	In media view, images are automatically resized to fit within the table. User may choose between the following settings- Actual size, Fit to window or Fit within table. Media view now displays EXIF info as well as IPTC info. EXIF info is displayed for images taken using any digital camera- Make, Model, Orientation, X Resolution, Y Resolution, Resolution Unit, Software, Date and Time and Positioning. IPTC info can be added and modified by admin on any jpg image. IPTC info includes headline, keywords, credit, copyright notice, object name, date created, city, state, country, special instructions, photographer and source. Admin can add and remove IPTC fields.

	Users can add comments to media they like/dislike and also rate them on a scale of 5.

	New improved search function- Search filenames, headlines, captions, keywords and other IPTC info. Users can now search all categories not limiting the results to a single category.

	Search results are automatically cached to avoid multiple creation of search result databases. Cached data can be resetted using administration centre.

	Keywords of media and username of uploader are automatically linked to search for quick access.

	Media can be uploaded by registered users in categories specified by administrator. Thumbnails are automatically created for gif, tif, jpg and png files. Envision also checks for thumbnail size (if user uploaded) and ensures its within area specified by admin (by default set to 125x125).

	Media uploaded by users can be modified and removed using myMedia feature. Users can also add IPTC info to media.

	Users can download media placed in myFolder. Image index is added to zip file when downloaded by user. Users can also send the contents of myFolder to a friend. Temporary files created during the various processes are purged after set interval of time either using cron job or administration centre.

	myFolder contents can be emptied using single click instead of manual removal of all media.

	Unique one click build feature allows admin to automatically update database, clear caches, remove temporary files and build thumbnails of uploaded media.

	Advanced administration feature enables you to create categories/subcategories, upload media, add iptc info, delete media, manage comments, view member details, moderate uploaded media, modify display/backend/templates & styles settings and more...



	Envision automatically builds categories, subcategories and higher levels. Media information is not required to be inputted manually. Instead Envision builds database containing information like data added, file size, rating and comments.

	Envision is built around a complex database structure supporting virtually unlimited number of media!

	Search function allows you to search for media by keywords, filenames, headline, caption and more. You can add new search fields like copyright, photographer or any other IPTC fields.

	Envision automatically spans media over a number of pages displaying only a set number per page. You can define the number of media per page using administration centre.

	Envision supports 100% template support which means you have complete control over the output of the script. Envision v2 enables users to take control and choose the design they like best!

	Every category can have either of the four settings: a) registration required, upload not allowed, b) registration not required, upload allowed, c) registration required, upload not allowed and d) registration required, upload allowed.

	Users can register themselves to gain access to members only area- myprofile, mymedia, comment posting and media upload.

	If enabled, email ids are verified before activation of accounts. Users are directed to a link sent to their mailbox which activates their account.

	You can ban offensive users depending on the language/contents of the comments or the media uploaded.

	Registration feature automatically checks for repeated IPs to avoid spamming.

	Rating and hits are counted only once; users are not allowed to vote twice and an error message is displayed if they try.

	myFolder feature enables users to quickly add media of their liking to a separate category. Users can add media from different categories and download, share or view their myFolder media as slideshow!

	Jump feature at the bottom of the page enables users to quickly switch to other available categories.

	Send as ecard feature enables users to create ecards quickly and easily!
